Glacier Park Models

The highly anticipated Southern Pacific 2-10-2 have arrived and are absolutely gorgeous. We still have some in stock including The Exclusive version only available at The Caboose #3727 with all the special detailing on the tender and locomotive.

Union Terminal Imports

UTI has announced the 1949 KCS Southern Belle 6 Car train and also several individual cars you can check out the new listings in our futures section of our site. There are two different sets being offered based on the car names.

Union Terminal Imports has quite a few Southern Pacific and Rock Island passenger cars on the Dockett. Be sure to check them out on our Future Model section or their site for more information.

DIVISION POINT

The Division Point has reconfirmed the the announcement of the FM C-Liner project including a couple of new versions not previously announced, A New Haven version in Pullman Green with silver trucks and a Long Island Intermediate Version with a orange/red pilot.

Also The Caboose in conjunction with Division Point will be offering a very limited re-run of the D&H Passenger cars.

OVERLAND MODELS, INC.

Just arrived are a bunch of new Cabooses you can check them out on our site or Overland's site call for availability.

Overland continues to produce the finest modern diesels in brass, no doubt about it. The Caboose has a few exclusive projects planned with Overland such as the Heritage fleet of seven SD-70ACE's which includes the Union Pacific #8444 Flag Unit.

Overland has also announced the EMD Great Northern NW-5 #190 be sure to reserve yours today !!

NORTH BANK LINE

NP F-1 2-8-0 (3 Versions) have arrived and are fantastic models simply fantastic !! New Steam projects include: SP P-12 (5 Versions); both SP&S N-4 & N-5 Class 2-8-0's be sure to reserve yours as soon as possible.

HO SP TW-2, 3 & TW-6 4-8-0 Steam Locos. Different versions being offered. Call for details.

KEY IMPORTS

Well it looks like Key may be re-announcing the HO Scale New York Central Hudson's again I guess we will see don't hold your breath.

The O Scale CB&Q Zephyr cars should be delivered later this year (Hopefully) Along with the Early O Scale E units.

New Projects Announced:
O Scale SP GS series 4-8-4's

O Scale SP AC-7, AC-8, AC-10, AC-11 and AC-12 (many versions are being offered)

O Scale ATSF 4-8-4's (many versions being offered as well)

PRECISION SCALE MODEL

The WP / SP GS-6 pilot models have been received at PSC and are going into production at BOO-RIM and will be delivered in the March-April time frame. There are still open reservations for most of the models place your reservation if you are interested.

Other projects that will be following the GS project will be the Rocky Mountain Rocket passenger car sets place your reservations ASAP.

Also scheduled for delivery for this year are the O Scale C&O H-7 and H-7a's being built by Boo Rim

New Announcements from PSC include several versions of the Great Northern P-2 and C&NW Class H and H-1 4-8-4 Northerns, SP GS-6's and WP 4-8-4's you can check out our future models page for further details.

Also announced are the Milwaukee Road 1942 Morning Hiawatha Cars as well as a nine car set.

The Rock Island Rocky Mountain 8 car train and individual cars have also been announced.

Why should you reserve your brass models from The Caboose
The Caboose can make the statement that over the years we reserved
more models from importers than most other dealers. Including many Caboose exclusive projects.

Why did we get so many reservations in the past and why do we currently get more than our share of reservations.

1. We always deliver and have very competitive pricing
2. In most cases we do not require a deposit.
3. We have a very liberal lay-a-way policy
4. We work with our customers as best we can

Why must you reserve future models?

1. Currently importers are producing enough models to cover their reservations and in many cases no extra models are produced.
2. In some cases only 10 to 15 models of a certain type are being produced.
3. In other cases they may produce more than 100 models but they are quickly reserved. A good example was the Division Point B&M P-4’s.
