Our new Future Model page will allow you to view all of the Importers Future Announcements in a variety of ways. You can view over 3500 entries in a Text File Format. Or you can view Page by Page with the ability to chose a detailed view of description and add to your Future Model Shopping Cart. A Future Model Advanced Search is also available and works the same way our inventory search does - allowing you to search by Scale, Road, Class, Type of Car, Wheel, etc. And you can view your Future Model Shopping Cart at any time.
Our Future Model Database is sorted by SCALE, then ROAD NAME, then CATEGORY ie Diesel, Passenger, Steam, etc.
Please note that ALL PRICES FOR FUTURE MODEL ANNOUNCEMENTS ARE ESTIMATES and are subject to change based on information given from the Importer.
Our Reservation Policy requires a 10% non-refundable deposit for all Reservations. If the Importer should cancel a project, then the deposit is refunded. If a customer cancels a reservation, then the deposit is put on account to be used towards another purchase at The Caboose.

OCTOBER 16, 2007: OVERLAND MODELS will be producing 3 new versions of the KCS SD-70 ACe in the Southern Bell Scheme. These versions were never produced before and are due in 2008.

AUGUST 24, 2007: The Caboose and Precision Scale Co. are currently taking reservations for the New Haven Y-4 and Y-4A 0-8-0Ős. At the present time, there are not enough reservations to start the project. They are scheduled to be built in Korea by Boo Rim Precision whom at the present time is probably KoreaŐs finest builder. So we strongly encourage you to place a reservation if you have not done so already.

The New Haven Y-4Ős have never been done before or attempted by any builder. It is a three cylinder 0-8-0 locomotive. It will be available in three versions and with three different tenders, as delivered with a large vanderbuilt tender, as modified with a W-12D rectangular tender, and one with a W-10D clear vision tender.
